“The Internet is a wonderful place to be, and we’re leading there”, according to Arthur Sulzberger, New York Times owner, chairman and publisher. The world’s most respected newspaper already has 1.5 million online readers a day but only 1.1 million subscribers to the printed edition. Printed newspapers raise many sustainability issues and Sulzberger has decided that in 5 years the New York Times will only be available online. If you have a comment about his decision write to publisher@nytimes.com.

    Incredible figures, great decision.
It is uncountable the number of newspapers printed everyday and all over the world that in the end of the day become garbage.
